Back to Painting!

Well, here I am getting back to what really counts! I'm really aware of how my photos do not translate the color in the paintings correctly. The posted paintings are a bit dull compared to the actual work. Doing this site has also given me a view of what is skewed, for example a vase in an earlier painting. So all is getting posted as it helps me immensely. I am adding several from last week. One is a painting of wildflowers which are massive here in the Desert presently. It's a 9x12 oil. Another is a triplicate in oil that is not finished. The 3 canvases are 5x5 each. It is from a photo. And the third is from a wildflower brochure - my interpertation. It is a before and after........all the values were the same on the first one. Hopefully the second is better. Posting both. It is an 18x24 oil.
