Well, it is time for me to figure this all out by myself! Denise has been here to help me post photos but the pictures I took yesterday may have to wait until she is back on Monday. I did successfully transfer them from the chip to my photo file. Now to get them on this blog!
I began with a blank canvas. Did a quick sketch and then began the early stages of the painting. Cory's mouth isn't right as yet. It is so important to capture the expression of one's subject. This is where likeness appears. And the real challange begins. I am pleased with the eyes. Have a lot of more work to do. Let's see if I can add the photos.
When I publish this post the pictures come out differently. Weclome back Denise! At least I was able to get them on........hooray!
Rita, You are a woman that I have had the privilege of knowing, since you were fourteen years old, and you still never cease to amaze me by the willingness, you show, to learn. From high school, you went to collage, and later, became a full time teacher. You have been painting for years, and after retiring from teaching, you took up professional dancing and won many honors. You are still painting, and your artwork has been recognized with many awards. Now I understand that you're into "Ham Radio," and just passed an upgrade test to the license of "General." Like I said, you just never cease to amaze me. You go girl!... Johnboy
