More work on this site.....got the two photos straightened out with Denice's help. It's awesome to work with someone who is so computer literate!
Painting, painting, painting. Did not go near the painting over the weekend nor today, so will get back to it tomorrow. Portraiture is such a challenge and also a rush once achieved. I know I'll get it. One of the issues I am having with Cory's mouth is that he is showing teeth and that is a feature many painters avoid. A closed mouth is much easier to paint. I have the painting on an easel in a space where I am always walking by it so I am really checking it out..........
I am wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving week! I don't have to cook. My husband is taking the family out for a Thanksgiving dinner. Hooray!
I'll be posting the information regarding my position as Art Director for the Coachella Valley Historical and Culltural Museum. There is a new exhibit each month. Plan to do some video and put it on the site so that should be fun.
