Finding the right photo of Cory to paint is somewhat of a challange. His school pictures are ok. Nothing has 'wiggled' me as yet. Cory is typical boy.....and busy, busy, busy! Once I have selected the photo I begin the sketch. To me this is one of the most important steps in the process.....capturing the likeness. This is done with the tilt of the head, expression of the mouth, and the eyes.
To digress..........eyes. Must tell you that I am legally blind in my right eye. I have no idea how others see the world. An opthomologist told me that the world is much softer than I percieve it. I wouldn't know as this is how it's always been for me. I don't converge or see depth as others do. My right eye is healthy but my brain did not develop as a full sighted person so this is how it always will be for me. I feel blessed in that I can do what I do. Lots of compensation but it works!
Enough. Still sifting through photos. As a grandmother, I naturally have many!!!!!!!!
