A Setback!

Nearly a week since posting - got knocked down by "gout" that settled in my right hand!!!!!!!! What a shock as this has never happened to me before. Could not do anything! To have one's right hand affected is totally debilitating. Could not dress, write, paint, or do anything one does when right handed. Gout in the hand? Most have never heard of it...always the toes, etc. but no, it is totally possible and that is where it struck. The pain was terrible. On medication - today is the first I could do anything and that fact is so appreciated by me! Follow up at Eisenhower Immediate Care in the morning. Do not want a recurrance so will pay attention to the diet recommended. In moderation!!!!!!!!!
