What a learning experience working in Photography this year has been! Having Eugenie and Lloyd Segroves assisting made the process of accepting work so easy. Eugenie has an amazing memory (I am quickly losing mine!) so could patch any holes I could have made. All the work was turned in by Wed., the judging was Thurs. afternoon, and the show was hung yesterday (Friday). The four of us had help from Michael and Laura Brennan so it went like clockwork.
No ribbons for me this year! It always feels like a blow to one's ego but that's the way things go. The quality of the paintings are terrific this year. I do hope many will get out to see the show. I am posting a photo of the 'take in' for the art section. Paintings were hung in classes and then rehung after the judging. We have the weekend off and then it's back on Monday and Tuesday to post the name cards and attach ribbons. Thursday is the Artist Reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Fun time!!!
