Painting-Cory

This was a "wow" day where the Cory painting was concerned! Began and reworked what I had "sketched" in and feel pleased with the progress. Somedays, the work just flows and other days one is blocked. And when it flows, that is a great feeling! The photo taken has what my husband calls a "kick" which is a shinny surface and I think it is because of the wet paint. My plan is to let the oil dry and then give the whole painting a glaze. That should set the painting back and highlight the flesh tones. Below is where I am presently. Will enlarge it when I figure that out!!!
